Motivation

The thunderhead server needs to act as a router, including providing wifi. One of the more common suitable AM5 micro-ATX mobos is the Gigabyte B650EM Force WiFi6E. The wifi controller on this mobo is the MEDIATEK Corp. MT7902 802.11ax PCIe Wireless Network Adapter [Filogic 310]

Unfortunately, MT7902 is not supported on kernel versions below v6.

Rocky v9 uses kernel v5, but Rocky v10 uses kernel v6

Solution

Update to Rocky v10.

  • Moved the constants into a shared file, so that we don't have to update multiple locations
  • Mirrored the v10.2 rpm repos

Papercut: Got the automatic formatting working
